St. Petersburg, Russia hosts 2018 International Jazz Day
On April 28, 29, and 30, the International Jazz Day comes to Russia: this year, the UNESCO official celebration is hosted by St. Petersburg. The April 30 All-Star Global Concert with Herbie Hancock, Dianne Reeves, Branford Marsalis, Igor Butman and dozens of world jazz stars will take place at the New Stage in the Mariinsky Theater. Jazz.Ru Magazine reports from the news conference in Moscow, held by the Russian co-organizers of the event produced by Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz.
